After more than two decades behind the scenes as a formulation chemist, I had a front-row seat to how products were actually developed—and more importantly, how founders were often left out of the process.
Brilliant ideas were being handed over with little transparency. Formulas were treated like transactions, not assets. And founders were building brands on products they didn’t truly control.
